Lighthouse Burgers

Any bar that calls itself a bar better make a mean burger. And that’s exactly what we do at the Lighthouse—in fact, we do that three times.

There’s the Lighthouse Burger (the usual fixins, plus bacon, a fried egg, and American cheese), the Firehouse Burger (the usual fixins, plus barbecue sauce, bacon, fried house-pickled jalapeños, and cheddar cheese), and the simple, but by no means lees than “regular” half-pound cheeseburger (those same fixins, plus double American cheese, served on a brioche bun), which is what you see pictured here.

It’s perfect after a long day of biking U.S. 30. It’s perfect for dinner with a beer and a shot. And it’s made more perfect by the melty tang of that American cheese.
